Since Music at Your Doorstep was created by two music teachers, we know exactly how important finding the right teacher is to a student’s educational experience! We have built our school around finding wonderful teachers and then being a support system for those teachers and their students.
Music at Your Doorstep teacher qualifications
It takes a very special person to be a teacher with Music at Your Doorstep! Each teacher must successfully pass our extensive interview and audition process and a complete background check. They must be friendly, experienced, and have a love for teaching. Most importantly they must have a passion for music that they will pass on to their students!

Music at Your Doorstep matches each student with the teacher that best suits their goals and needs! We complete a personality and musical profile on each new student so we can better understand their current musical level and learning style. We have so many wonderful teachers, each with their own strengths, teaching methods, and personalities. We will work with you until you find the teacher that fits the best!! Don’t worry if it takes a few tries or if the student’s needs change over the years! One of the benefits to enrolling with a school and not just a teacher is that we are with you every step of the way! If you would like to add lessons on an instrument, add lessons for another student in your family, change teachers due to the student’s level or needs changing, or if something happens to your teacher, we will match you with a teacher!
